Colorize a Black & White Image

For this project, I took a Black and White photograph, and I colored it in photoshop with a low opacity paint brush, to make it colored, but still realistic and not too cartoony.

Post-Impressionist Portrait

I did the same thing as the Post-Impressionist Landscape, but I did a Portrait on these birds.

For this Post-Impressionist Landscape, I used a picture of a sunset on the ocean, and added colored dots to form the landscape.

Digital Painting of Choice: ArtRage

For my digital painting of choice, I was inspired by the artist Jackson Pollock. I created my own version in art rage, with the paint tube and scraper.

Create a New Logo

For this drawing, I put the subway logo on a loaf of french bread to make a sort of new logo, using my digital painting skills in Art Rage.

Formal/Informal Balance

Hi Guys. I deleted the last formal/informal balance painting that  I posted because it was really bad, so I decided to make this one, which is much better. I used blending in the background and stencils to make the spiky blobs of color, using Art Rage.

Street Art

To make this street art design, I used a image of a wall and colored on it with stencils in art rage, so it looks like street art, with an inspirational motto.

Rhythym/Movement

I blended a background of different shades of blue, purple, and pink, and then used stencils to blend these patterns into the picture. I made this in Art rage, like the last post.

Rotho-esque Painting

Instead of the usual photoshop, this time I used Art Rage to create this digital painting. I blended several colors (about 7) to create a painting similar to the work of Mark Rothko.

Celebrity with animal name

I used images of rebecca black and a yak and blended them together in photoshop by using a lower opacity eraser. I hope you get a kick out of it!

Felt-tip Scan Drawing

I first created this picture by drawing with a felt tip pen, as the name suggests. I then scanned it, sent it to the computer, and colored it in with photoshop. I call it "The Creation of the World".

9 Panel Comic

Hi, for this project I used characters and scenes from google images and colored, shaded, and used the gradient tool to fill the colors in to make my very own 9 panel comic.

Colored/Shaded Scene of Choice

For this project,  I used Cartoon people and backgrounds, and colored and shaded them, using the paint bucket tool, gradient tool, and burn tool.

Bird Coloring Page

To create this photo, I did almost the same as the Kaleidoscope coloring page. I added feathers to a coloring page of a cardinal off of Google images (the feathers also from Google images), and positioned them to fit the shape of the cardinal. I finished by adding a gradient as a background.

To make this project, I first took a kaleidoscope coloring page off of the internet and filled it with different color paints and gradients. Voila!
